Craig was born and raised in Minnesota and Natalia in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They met while studying at I.B.R.P. (River Plate Bible Institute). After they both graduated, they got married in 2010. During that time they lived in Argentina served as youth coordinators in Natalia's local church. In 2013 they moved to Minnesota and served as children's coordinators in a multicultural church plant for two years; as they prepared to go to the field. They recently finished their first term as missionary associates in Panama City. They were part of a non-profit association that offers training and discipleship for students to guide them in the first steps of following Christ and equip them for the future. Likewise, they preached openly in public and private schools through school assemblies using plays and music as a strategy. They are currently in the fundraising process for their next term in Mexico City where they will be for three years.
Craig and Natalia hope they can strategically position themselves close to the largest university in Latin America (UNAM); the main campus has more than 300,000 students. There they will begin to form a national team with young leaders who share the same burden as the Baumtrogs: bringing the Good News to college students. Also, one of the priority objectives will be to learn the national language and culture and create relationships with the local council to establish themselves in the country.
The Baumtrogs are about to begin their first term as career missionaries. They're excited to serve the youth of Mexico City. They will evangelize and disciple high school and college students. The mission is clear: share the gospel with youth, guiding them in the knowledge of God through bible clubs, and connecting them with local churches.
At the heart of the Baumtrogs is the desire to present God's love for each student and help them find the purpose for which they were created in Christ. They will also be part of a strong church planting team, working strategically with fellow missionaries and national leaders. To open 2,000 new churches in the state of Mexico, and train local workers to fulfill their calls.
Your generous donations help vital Assemblies of God ministries and missionaries share the love of Jesus in cities and hometowns across the country, and throughout the world.
