Matthew, Christina & Caleb Powers

We met as student interns while pursuing our Bachelors in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University at Christian Life Center. After two years of friendship, we learned about each other's calling to missions, which sparked a romantic interest. 

Since marrying in 2016, we’ve served both in administrative and pastoral roles at OakGrove Assembly of God, Christian Life Center, OneHope, and, most recently, the Assemblies of God National Office in Springfield, MO. Near the end of 2023, while serving faithfully at the National Office, we felt a prompting from the Holy Spirit to fast and pray. 

After two months of fasting and prayer, we received clarity from the Holy Spirit and began preparing for our first assignment to serve as Missionary Associates to the Netherlands.

During our first term, we will serve with John & Joy Sisk at New Day International Church in the city of Almere. Afterward, we will pursue full appointment and serve in the city of Tilberg as career missionaries, committing the next ten years (and possibly many more) to serving in the Netherlands.
