Serving in Latin America Caribbean

I was raised in a Christian home where I formed a personal relationship with the Lord. It was on my first missions trip at age 12 when God called me to be a missionary. I have been on several missions trips to different parts of Latin America, and feel God has called me there. I attended SAGU, pursuing a degree in missions and elementary education. Throughout my years at SAGU I led children’s ministries, including a sidewalk Sunday school and mentorship program. Following college I have been working as a first grade teacher, focusing on paying off my loans and gaining valuable experience. Fifteen years after my first call to missions, I am ready to make it my full-time career.
I am starting as an MA working with trusted missionary friends, Tim and Marketa Southerland in Curacao. My hope is that my work there will focus on ministering to children. I would love to use my experience with sidewalk Sunday school to help the church there start a mobile outreach program focused on the more rural population.
Your generous donations help vital Assemblies of God ministries and missionaries share the love of Jesus in cities and hometowns across the country, and throughout the world.
